Single component 1K topcoat. This product is designed to go over any water based primer, or known acrylic coating. This product CAN NOT be used over any Nitrocellulose or Polyurethane primer/sealers. This product may be cross linked with RENNER YC.1402 @ 1% by weight.

The Renner 851 1K/2K Water-Base Urethane Topcoat is a premium, water-based urethane topcoat product that’s great for both residential and commercial projects. This product is considered a “Self-Sealer” product. In layman’s terms, this is almost like saying it is a “paint & primer in one”. This product, when catalyzed, may be used over raw woods without and primer.

Nicknamed “Super Hang”, this product offer superior sag resistance when sprayed on parts hanging vertically. This product also has great filling abilities compared to thinner coatings such as the 851. This product is not intended to fill grain, but can easily fill any small voids that may be left after priming. This product can be used as a 1K or 2K coating.

Nicknamed “Anti-Scratch”, this coating has the highest abrasion resistance in the whole WB Renner product selection. This product is a 2K Product ONLY! This product is well suited to be used on cabinetry where they may be harsh environments such as a lot of chemical use, a lot of cooking / cleaning and even in a household that may have small children prone to banging into cabinetry.
